“I am so pleased of what I have accomplished so far considering the circumstances, like in 2017 I could no longer walk on a horse, never mind jump or compete. I would urge anyone to pursue their passion or dream and never let a disability or health issue beat you! It’s all about what you can do that counts!”

Laura Goodall

Laura Goodall is an International Grade II Para Showjumper, and Individual Medalist for GB in Germany 2019.

National Grade 2 Para British Champion 2020, and suffers from relapsing remitting (RR) Multiple Sclerosis (MS).

Laura is a Grade 2 (SJ) International Para Equestrian from Shropshire,

England and was diagnosed with relapsing remitting MS in 2015. Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a condition that affects your brain and spinal
cord. This causes symptoms such as issues with balance, muscle weakness and spasms, severe fatigue, vision problems, pains, numbness and tingling (pins and needles), issues with memory and sporadic relapses.

All of these symptoms can make life extremely difficult and can make a strenuous sport such as horse riding and show jumping, as you can
imagine, quite a challenge! Laura is a strong brave young woman not allowing this illness stop her love of horsemanship especially show jumping.
